We offer a range of different timber and internal sauna trims which can be purchased by the metre. Our sauna panelling is 18mm thick which will last considerably longer than thinner timber offered by our competitors. Each sauna panel has an 86mm linear coverage. If you are unsure how much timber you will need just give us a call with your saunas internal dimensions and we will work it out for you.
Our sauna wood is machined with two expansion grooves to the underside. (See the PDF drawing for details.) These grooves help prevent the panel from curling during its lifetime in a sauna. Saunas undergo extremes of temperatures in a 24-hour cycle. Heated to temperatures often exceeding 95deg C with high humidity one minute then dry as a bone the next. All day every day. This is why it’s important to use properly machined cladding for any repairs and over-cladding you may be considering.
